Death in The Family

Seabee Marvin Shields (MOH recipient for his bravery in Nam) daughter has died from a heart attack. She was 48 years old. She was born with a bad heart and she died at her mother Joan's house. She was recovering from heart surgery. The memorial is this Saturday in Gardner, Wa.

I thank you for your replies.
My wife is 1st cousin to Marvin's wife Joan. Marvin died and only saw his daughter in photos. The Seabees will be attending the memorial. I will take some photos and post them for you.
As far as I know, Marvin is still the only Seabee to receive the MOH.
