I still say NK is a much bigger threat than any country in the world right now. Iran sponsors terrorism, has nuclear weapons ambitions, is run by a fanatical ruler with pretty good control over his country, and has had a rampant aquitement and development of military technology in recent years. NK however is light years a head of Iran, they already have nuclear weapons, have a larger army, have the same if not farther advanced military equipment, are at a defacto state of war with SK and the US, are friends (limited) with the emerging super power of China, and have already killed, ohh yeah and look at their two neighbors Russia and China.

If a war gets started in the area it has the potential to get out of hand quite quickly.

North Korea's military Monday threatened "special actions" soon to turn parts of the South Korean capital to ashes, accusing Seoul's conservative government of defaming its leadership.

The North has for months been criticising the South's President Lee Myung-Bak in extreme terms and threatening "sacred war" over perceived insults.

There have been no incidents but the language has become increasingly vitriolic. Some analysts said they believe a military provocation is likely.

"The special actions of our revolutionary armed forces will start soon to meet the reckless challenge of the group of traitors," said a statement on the official news agency.

The North said its targets are "the Lee Myung-Bak group of traitors, the arch criminals, and the group of rat-like elements including conservative media destroying the mainstay of the fair public opinion".

It said the actions "will reduce all... to ashes in three or four minutes... by unprecedented peculiar means and methods of our own style".

Tens of thousands rallied in Pyongyang last Friday, screaming hatred for Lee and calling for his death over alleged insults.

Last week the nuclear-armed North accused Lee of "desecrating" mass celebrations marking the 100th anniversary on April 15 of the birth of Pyongyang's founding president Kim Il-Sung.

It bridled at anti-Pyongyang demonstrations in Seoul and at comments by Lee and conservative media. These questioned the cost of the anniversary celebrations for a nation suffering acute food shortages.

Lee said the estimated $850 million cost of a rocket launch intended to mark the anniversary could have bought 2.5 million tonnes of corn.

The launch, purportedly to put a satellite into orbit, was to have been a centrepiece of the celebrations. The rocket disintegrated after some two minutes in what was seen as an embarrassment for the regime.

Monday's statement castigated Lee for comments last Friday, which urged the North's new leader Kim Jong-Un to reform agriculture and improve human rights.

It also took issue with the South's unveiling of a new cruise missile said to be able to reach any target in the North.

The North attributed its statement to the "special operation action group" of the military supreme command. Military officials in Seoul said they had no knowledge of such a unit, and no particular military movements had been detected in the North.

One analyst said the North, unlike in the past, may well follow up its threats now that major anniversary events are over.

"The easiest option will be cyber terror... but we may have to guard against actual terrorist actions," Cheong Seong-Chang of South Korea's Sejong Institute think-tank, told AFP.

"This time, I think there's a high possibility that the North's words, unlike in the past, will actually lead to specific actions."

Baek Seung-Joo, of the South's Korea Institute for Defence Analyses, said there had been "bad signs" across the border but did not elaborate.

"I'm worried about military provocations by North Korea," Baek told AFP.

Wonder how many scientists got the firing squad for the failed launch? Nuke Seoul? Shit. I guess they think the wind will be in their favor when they do. Good luck with that. Better to cross the DMZ and invade than a nuke.

I'm sure they would invade, but I wouldn't be surpised if they would detonate a nuke just out of spite with the collapse of their country by the time we get done with them. I wouldn't be suprised if the fired it at Russia, China, SK, or Japan. Simply just because, I mean Iran is radical and certainly any evil and tyranical government, but Irans cities atleast have power and food, their government has done that much for them. NK on the other had has virtually neither and their govt. knows exactly what they are doing in the way of controlling the people and creating a hell of a mess in the process. They are far more radical, and tyranical than most governments in the world right now.

I would imagine every scientist that was involved in the program got much worse than a firing squad, probably accused of sabotage and tortured. NK would not be so nice to just execute someone, unless you stole a loaf of bread.

No one is gonna hurt my feelings. I'm just surprised that you, who praises their 2nd WW veterans, want to do something what they fought against roughly 45 years ago... Strong hand tyranny... Mass murdering... Crime against humanity... Genocide... Or is it already forgotten and we're up for another reduction of world population?

I'm just wondering, all of you anti commies people accusing me of being the communist, telling me how awful communism is, how dictators there are killing their people.

Beagle even went as far as saying that it may happen in US because Obama is capable of it.

Yet i keep seeing those proposals to shoot all communists...

So let me get this straight, you want to join the forces with those oppressing regimes and kill more of those already suffering people?

Joining the fun sort of speaking?

Perhaps you are being labeled a commie because you are always defending or diverting the truth in regards to communism.

Oh, and who are you to say Obama does not have commie/marxist beliefs? Are you in his head?
Who knows what goes on in that Turd's head. His actions speak louder than words....and his actions can be associated with certain "groups"
And we cannot deny his documented past. The evidence is there...people look past it. When someone speaks against Obama, they are automatically labeled a racist....conservative wacko, or redneck tea party member. I know plenty of Democrats that hate him...and they get the same treatment, they get called racist fox news viewers. Funny shit.

You probably do not even fully understand how our system works.
You know....stuff you cannot find on wikipedia.

I'm sure 762 was talking about....well you know COMMIES(Communist leadership/government/supporters)
"why does the world put up with communism they should be hunted down and killed like rats."

Where does innocent women and children come into play here?
And I'm sure when he says "Nuke em' all" on the front page it's a figure of speech.
I have yet to see him say kill the women and children of communist led countries.

Is he extreme? I'd say yes....lol but he just posts one-liners and moves on. He's not preaching.

For some reason you take it personal when someone trash talks commies and you are the first to counter post....
Yet you said your parents fled commie oppression.

I do not understand.

I'd like to though...
We all have different thoughts and opinions.

well I support a free market capitalism system only because I feel it has served us here in the United States very well in our 200+ years of existence. I feel that the last 2 or 3 decades it has been betrayed by our government and politicians by moving forward with this world trade agreement with anyone and everyone but mostly china. China isnt an ally of America never has it been even close. They are communist and they are human rights violators and they stand with our known enemies like iran, syrian, and russia now. Granted at one time America and Russia were on good ground when Gorbachev and Reagan were in power. Now china has millions of American jobs that their citizens are benefiting from what little they do get. The government is making huge profits off their peoples backs and lives and our companies CEOs are making 600 million bonuses from it(see Apple CEO).

So why if here in America we have labor laws that protect workers and our citizens against unfair labor practice is it ok for our American companies to then bypass our American laws and send jobs to china where they shit on their people and its as close to slave labor as it can get?

I truly dont care if the regular russion or chinese person loves America or hates us. They dont know me and I dont know them. I know there are millions of former chinese and former russian citizens that have come to America for the oppurtunities America offers them that they dont feel their own country does. That is a fact. I have new neighbors that are Chinese can barly understand their words but they are very grateful to be in America from the number of times they have repeatedly over and over told me they are so fortunate to be here.

So I dont give a shit what people do with their life and if they prefer communism over capitalism or socialism. I usually am talking about my own problems with my own country and where liberals seem to want to change America and not be proud of who we are (mrs and mr obama). There is certainly many options for Americans who like socialism or communism to go move to those countries that have it perfected rather than try to impose those ideals on us who rather keep our freedoms, liberties and capitalism ways of doing things.

The only reason why people do not move to other countries that have a dictatorship government is that they know in thier hearts of hearts that they would not stand a chance. Wow that was a long run-on sentence. Very few western countries allow the kind of shit we allow from all sides of the political spectrum. I am not a republican nor am I a democrat. I am me.
