Apache Clips - Iraqi Kids

I am referring to this video and perhaps some of the commentary embedded in its discussion. Has America lost the morals of the 1930's and 1940's? Have we lost the kind heart. Will these Iraqi children remember us as brutal and heartless men and women or gentle souls?

It's a question we should ask ourselves. I truly hope the poor treatment of children in Afghanistan and Iraq that we see in videos is just a tiny portion of what goes on.

We've got to remember many of the soldiers are extremely young. It's really odd we don't see the good treatment of iraqi children much...

We've got to remember our WWll Veterans were extremely young too !!!! They didn't have the same cavalier posture then ??? What kind of statement are you making ?? Does that excuse today's American military Soldiers profile for this kind of behavior, representing our Country on Foreign Land??? Well.. He was just funning around !!! Sure he was... but did he explain that to that young empressionalable kid, who will grow up to become a man, remembering how he was treated that day by that American soldier,at a time when American posture with these people is already on thin ice ???
Are they not Ambassadors of our Country, supposing to be at there best behavior.
Turn the situation around for a moment... You can't speak any Arabic tongue...you approach An Iraqi soldier not knowing what he is saying ( maybe some words, but not all.. very limited ) and that soldier starts smiling at you and giving you some foreign hand signal that you have never seen before, laughing at you, then driving away, never to see his face again. Weeks later it is explained to you what that hand signal means, but that soldier isn't there to explain what he was doing and you can't ask him?? You find out the signal meant.. "up yours". Do I need to finish painting the picture in your mind??

We should ask those who fought in Vietnam about children.

Pretty much that what F-450 was saying.

Sorry posted the Vietnam statement before really thinking about what was being shared here.

Generation Kill

Not all soldiers are like this though. I've seen plenty of videos where Soldiers were giving out soccer ball and candies to the Iraqi's children. Some even fed an MRE to the kitten because it was starving.

Then there are some who thinks it would be cool to play Metallica music while doing a patrol around the Iraqi's neighborhood. Shoots dog while making a video and laugh about it. Make the Iraqi's children chase them on a Humvee for a half-bottle of water.

C'mon...seriously? This is what you came with. Killing puppies and telling kids to Fuck off...we must have lost all morality, huh. You do realize that Americans have always been REAL people, good or bad. Angels and Devils. There is not one country on Earth that is only full of good people. And seeing as the U.S. has +300 million people that means we got a lot of Assholes here.

Isn't it obvious, what you thought we were the beacon of light for the world or something? Far from it

Then could you please explain the whole immigration thing? Or is that just an urban legend?
