Soldiers in the scout platoon from Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 158th Infantry Regiment, participate in war-time operation exercises at Florence Military Reservation, Jan. 7. The forward scouts observe motor rounds impact and report accurate fire as part of their mission to support the battalion's objective to deploy and fight on the battlefield as a light infantry battalion.
