It's pretty interesting to see that everyone thinks that this is something new. The Taliban have been in Pakistan(and taking control) for quite some time now. But, they(Pakistani govt) are just now starting to do something? Come the fuck on!

We all know this isn't something new. Pakistan has been the savehaven for the taliban since they were removed as the ruling power in afghanistan and US forces were actively hunting them down. The reason why this is getting all this extra attention is that the Pakistani goverment is just letting them take over parts of the country and they are getting closer to Islamabad where some nuclear weapons are located. The question now asked is if the Pakistani goverment will roll-over the area of Islamabad as easy as it has done with the western part of Pakistan. If the Taliban do get a hold of those facilities they will of course not use the balistic missles but dismantle the warheads and move them by donkey and how will you be able to track them than???
