The US Ambassador to Hungary, Eleni Tsakopoulos Kounalakis, recently attended a joint training session
with the Hungarian Afghanistan OMLT-6 (Operational Mentoring and Liaison Team) unit and the Ohio
National Guard. She tried all of the available firearms including the AK-63F (Hungarian AKM), PKM machine
gun, Glock 17, M4, and the Szep Sniper Rifle. Judging by the video, she seemed to be having a genuinely
good time.
She asked detailed information on all of firearms, was curious about how many ammunition fits into the magazines and how large a series it is possible to fire of shot without the dangerous warming of their pipe with the machine carbines, machine guns.
The first shots of Glock and M4 are hit, then with the AK-63F his passed short series the second was successful only, but after that she shot with the PKM machine gun and with the M1 sniper rifle: both first match again
She said:
"Well, the Hungarian-made M1 sniper rifle won the most pleasure.
This has never been in my hands, light weight, easy to use and it can shoot very accurately"
