It probably did work, according to other news sources they were 22 of them just protecting diplomats.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect any harm to come to any of the troops. Lybia is already in deep shit, and they don't want any NATO troops on the ground or an international response cause they killed NATO soldiers. Probably just gonna question and release them.
