HERAT, Afghanistan (Jan. 3, 2011)
The Herat Provincial Reconstruction Team struck
a remote detonated improvised explosive device while on convoy
near Camp Arena, Herat Province, Afghanistan, Jan. 3.
No servicemembers were injured in the incident , which happened at 6:45 p.m.
The PRT was travelling in a three-vehicle convoy and the
third vehicle suffered moderate damage by the IED.
The incident is under investigation.
