This is the shocking moment a woman was hit by a speeding car and thrown 40feet into the air.
Miraculously, the 44-year-old woman survived the astonishing crash.
CCTV footage captures the moment the car ploughed into the woman as she walked along a street in Brazil on Saturday, October 2, 2010.

The unidentified woman - who was returning home at 6am from work - is flipped up on to the bonnet of the car and tossed more than 40feet along the road before crashing down.
The speeding car is seen screeching to a halt by the side of the woman who is lying injured.
Cameras from a nearby building captured the collision and the arrival of a police car.
Brazilian website G1.Globo.com said a neighbour was woken up at the sound of the crash in the Brazilian town of Belem.

Ana Christina Santana, 55, said she thought at first that two cars had collided.
But when she looked outside and saw the woman, covered in blood and lying on the pavement, she realised the horrifying truth.
The driver, she said, was tearfully crying for help and begging forgiveness.
Incredibly, she said, the victim - a servant at the home of a wealthy family - was conscious and able to give her address.
The driver was desperate to help the victim, she said, but as a crowd formed was unable to get near.
She said the driver was frantic and did not stop crying.
The woman was rushed to hospital where, astonishingly, she survived with just minor injuries.

The video, which was posted on YouTube, has now gone viral, and is being picked up by blogs and websites around the world.
It has also been shown on U.S. TV where on the Good Morning America show a presenter was so surprised by the footage that he could be heard expressing his shock off the camera.

From the looks of where she is in the street, and how close the silver car came to the red one.It looks like the person was trying to hit her.

Hi Mel,
It does not look right at all.
If you remove her from the picture it is still going to hit the other car.
